I had to laugh at Focus on the Family saying "Plato was right." It leads me to believe that they never actually read Plato's Republic. I only got about halfway when I tried reading it, but I'd read enough to know that Plato's Republic did not uphold the sanctity of marriage - instead regarding sexual intercourse between men and women as a matter of breeding for heritable traits, with open exchange of partners, and endorses infanticide to get rid of weak or malformed children.
